If you haven't seen any MARA robotic arm live, you can now get the chance to watch it run in simulation. And learn from it! Online platform The Construct is launching a series of ROS 2.0 live classes using MARA  -the first modular 'cobot' running 100% on ROS 2.0-, as the exemplary robot.

The first session, focused on ROS topics, will be held Tuesday the 8th of January, at 18:00 CET: https://youtu.be/0vuT-r6Ck0M. The Construct will share the code with attendees for free at the beginning of the class and ROS Development Studio will be used for doing the practice.

Particularly, the class will teach attendees:

▸ How to publish on a ROS 2.0 topic from the command line
▸ How to read from a ROS 2.0 topic from the command line
▸ How to create a ROS 2.0 publisher in C++ and
▸ How to launch a ROS 2.0 node
